Charles K.Y. Chan

Mr. Chan joined AHL in 1982 and became a Principal in 2000. He has managed some of the largest projects in Hawaii including the twin 44-story One Waterfront Towers and the Nauru Tower. His extensive experience includes design, construction documents, and construction administration on residential, hotel, healthcare, institutional, office, commercial, and government projects.

Mr. Chan’s projects have received design recognition from the AIA and other professional organizations. These projects include the Waikoloa Beach Marriott & Outrigger Resort, Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Clinic, and the Waialae Building.

He is a member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and is a director of the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architecture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is licensed in Hawaii.
