David S. Bylund
Architect, LEED®-AP | Principal | Director of Design & Sustainability
Mr. Bylund joined AHL in 2001 and was promoted to Principal in 2008. He heads AHL’s Sustainability in Architecture program. He is a leader in the management of architectural programming and design processes through database and three-dimensional-design tools.
Mr. Bylund recently served as Project Designer for the Ronald T.Y. Moon Judiciary Complex. His portfolio also includes the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, the Kameda Medical Center in Japan, and the Discovery Center at the Honolulu Zoo.
Mr. Bylund received a BSE Architecture/Civil Engineering degree from Princeton University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. He is licensed in Hawaii and New York.
