AHL’s Murdock ACHA Certified

Honolulu, Hawai‘i – Architects Hawaii Ltd. (AHL) announced that Marni Murdock, Principal, AIA, ACHA, LEED®-AP has received board certification from the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA).
Murdock is only the second architect in Hawai‘i with this designation; the other ACHA-certified architect is another AHL principal, Walter Muraoka, AIA, ACHA.
The ACHA provides board certification for architects who practice as healthcare specialists. The stringent certification process includes a written exam and the appropriate experience and credentials in the healthcare industry. Members are healthcare architects from the United States and Canada with specialized skills and proven expertise.
Murdock has extensive experience with more than 20 years in healthcare and laboratory design involving facility planning and knowledge of complex equipment. Her recent and past projects include working with Kaiser Permanente, Queen’s Development Corporation and Hawai‘i Health Systems Corporation.
