Diagnostic Laboratory Services
The Diagnostic Laboratory Services project involved analysis to determine if the existing warehouse structure would accommodate the relocation of laboratory, administrative and support functions from its current location.
The work required converting the existing warehouse floor into parking area and building a mezzanine floor over the existing warehouse floor for the laboratory spaces.
This allowed for 83,000 gross square feet of floor area for a clinical laboratory, administrative and support spaces including 64 parking spaces within a former warehouse building
A new air conditioning system with dedicated exhausts for the laboratories, wet pipe fire sprinkler system, new electrical transformer, telephone, cable, energy efficient lighting system and emergency generator were provided for the project. The project was under design-bid-build project delivery.
