Hawai’i County Office Building

This project began as a construction cost estimate for roof repairs to address leaks in the metal roofing but was expanded to a complete renovation, including reroofing, after the entire building was vacated.
Although more than 40 years old, the building had not had a major renovation since originally constructed.
This combined with metal roof leaks, asbestos abatement issues on the steel roof truss fireproofing and in the resilient floor tile, convinced the County to combine the work, instead of attempting to phase the work, thereby reducing the amount of outside office space the County would have to lease for staff relocation.
Our services include full Interior Design and FF&E work, including interior movable partitions.
