University of Hawai’i — Windward Community College Library and Learning Center

This three-story structure with sloped clay tile roofs and a plaster exterior, with a stucco-like finish, keeps with the Spanish Mission Revival architectural style established on the campus. In addition, the design encourages the use of natural daylight and allows for views of the surrounding natural beauty.
A sense of place for the library will be captured by its strategic location on the campus quadrangle, which is the open, green space enclosed by the major buildings on campus. The facility will act as a focal building within the campus, yet will blend with the existing architecture.
