Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home
Spearheaded by Hawaii’s senior senator, Daniel Inouye, this is Hawaii’s very first veteran’s home. Designed as a welcoming residential style home for its honored residents, one of the two-story buildings houses a 95-bed skilled nursing/long-term facility including dining, activity, lounge areas and an exercise garden courtyard. A 35-patient adult day care facility is in the other building, as well as administration and ancillary support services.
