Frederick Hong

AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

Associate, Project Architect

An accomplished architect, Fred specializes in hospitality, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. He finds his profession particularly rewarding when he solves complex design problems and enhances the lives of end users through a sustainable built environment. Fred heavily focuses on functionality due to his interest in user-centric design and usability that dates back to his previous career as a software engineer in the Silicon Valley. His interest in architecture helped him transition from a virtual environment to a physical built environment. Fred also supports AHL by promoting the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology and taking advantage of the latest industry tools.  When he’s not designing, Fred enjoys travelling, programming websites and apps, and delving into culinary exploration through cooking and trying new foods.
